Notes from the teacher
Good afternoon! I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break! No beaches for us but lots of relaxation and some much needed spring cleaning ( well at least a start). I look forward to hearing stories on Monday morning.
Thanks for all of your help in getting your children ready for their Job Fair! They all did such an amazing job telling about their careers and I was really proud of each and every one of them. It was so exciting to see such a great turnout as well. The future is theirs!
I had sent home the permission slip for our April 22nd field trip to the library, fire, and police station. Please send back this week if you haven't already done so.
The Spring Book Fair begins Tuesday of this week in the library. Our class shopping day will be during our regular library time, Thursday morning, from 9:30-10:00. If you'd like to come shop with your child please feel free! Just make sure your background check/anti-bullying are on file in the office. You may also choose to send in money in a sealed envelope labeled with your child's name and the amount inside. This really helps keep the money sent in organized!
The PTO Pancake Breakfast is this Saturday from 8:00-10:00. It is a great day for fellowship, as well as browsing the Spring Book Fair and viewing the Young Author books that we have been working so hard on. Young author books will be in the gym. They are for display only there, but will be sent home in the next couple of weeks after we share with other classes in the building!
Have a great week!
