A World With Water

So Whats The Big Deal About Water????
Well without water, you wouln't be doing to good. All living things need water. Its good to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water each day. A person can go several weeks without food, but olny a few days without water. Thats why we should take care and use water wisely.
The Water Cycle
Evaporation
When heat is added to a liquid, it turns into a gas. then the gas
Condensation
When the gas gets to the the clouds, it turns into a liquid.
Precipitation
When the liquid in the clouds gets to heavy, the water falls from the sky. The different types of precipitation are: Rain, Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain, and Hail
Types of Precipitation
Different types of precipitation are: Rain, Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain, and Hail. Rain starts as ice crystals, but they melt as they fall through warmer air. When its cold outside the ice crystals can stay cold all the way down to the ground. This makes snow. Sleet obviously starts as ice crystals and then falls through a thin layer of warm air. After that, they fall through cold air for a longer period of time. They freeze before they hit the ground witch causes them to turn into sleet. As always, freezing rain starts as ice crystals. Then they go through a thick layer of warm air. When the ground is cold and the rain hits it, the rain becomes frozen and makes freezing rain. Last but not least, is hail. Hail is very different than the rest. It happens when a strong wind blows a rain drop back up to the cold air at the top of the cloud. This makes a tiny piece of ice. The ice repeats this process until the ice gets to heavy for the wind to blow back up.
Solids, liquids and gases
Solid/Ice cube
When something is a solid, all of the particles are packed tighly together.
Liquid/Water
When something is a liquid, all of its particles are together, but they are not as packed together
Gas/Water Vapour
When something is a gas, none of its particles are together, they go where ever they want
