Skyview Upper Elementary School
Important Skyview update -staffing
Skyview Families:
As you are aware, the Methacton Board of School Directors recently voted to close Audubon Elementary School. Dr. Zerbe has appointed me effective immediately as the district’s Principal in Charge of Transition Coordination (this is a special assignment that will likely continue for several months). In general, I will continue to be based out of Skyview, but will be charged to work with administrators, teachers, staff, and parents to address the myriad of transition matters associated with this change to our district.
During the period of time that I am serving the district in this capacity, Mr. John Smink will assume daily principal responsibilities at Skyview. Mrs. Peggy Bonder, current Skyview Instruction Support teacher will assume assistant principal responsibilities. In order to continue to support our Skyview students, Mrs. Diana Kernop (current 5th grade, Stars team) will temporarily move into the Instructional Support teacher position and Mrs. Sue Schofield will serve as the substitute ELA and Social Studies teacher on the Stars team.
Thank you for your continued support of our learning community.
Regards,
Mrs. Melissa E. Gorla
