You can also purchase a shout-out for your child to be published in the book. Shout-outs are due by the end of the month and cost $5. AR
We have had several students meet their AR goals early, which is awesome! For those who haven't met their goals, there are 2 full weeks left until the goals are due.
Also, Mrs. Ray shared a report with us and I am proud to say we have the second highest amount of points in the third grade, and the third highest for the entire school!! We are less than 40 points away from second place, and less than 170 points away from taking the top spot. I challenged the kiddos to try to have the most points for both the third grade AND the school by the end of the year! I know we can do it!

We Are Learning To...
Language Arts
This week we will be looking at several texts we have read throughout our reading units and focusing on where they take place. Students will have the option to choose one of those locations and will research to create an informational writing piece about that specific culture.
We will also begin a new Magic Tree House text. With the text, students will synergize to read, identify key details from each chapter, answer questions related to the text and discuss a text.

Math
It's time to celebrate: we will be finishing our third unit of the year! Our unit focused on Multiplication and Division, and students will be tested over this content this week.
