Harwich Influencers - Ms Cook's Class
Third grade students Owen Wilder, Linnea Tavano, Gabby Rzpecka and Lilly Rzpecka joined their teacher Ms. Cook for a presentation to the MRSD School Committee this past Thursday night. For the project based learning unit "Harwich Influencers" the students answered the essential question: How did people from our history influence my life in Harwich today?

Little Shark LIbrary - Joseph's Big Idea becomes a Reality
Fourth Grader Joseph Bixby thought that kids should have a lending library in our school garden. His teacher, Mrs. McManamin, found a local volunteer to build the tiny library and Joseph painted it in Monomoy colors. Mr. Sirois, HES Lead Custodian, helped Joseph install the library in the garden for all HES students to enjoy.
Thank you to Joseph, Mrs. McManamin , and Mr. Sirois for making this lending library a dream come true!
MRSD Elementary Homework Survey
Elementary parents and caregivers - As we plan for next year, we are taking time to evaluate our homework procedures at the elementary level. We would like your feedback regarding your family's experiences and your input regarding the value of homework for elementary students. For the purposes of this survey, homework is defined as any schoolwork assigned to specifically be done by the student at home, including worksheets, reading logs, etc. If you have students in multiple grades, please select the answers that best fit your overall experience, and use the comment field at the end to elaborate, if need be. We appreciate you taking the time to complete the brief survey below. This survey will be open from June 4 through June 18, 2021. Thank you!
