The Latest

What a wonderful break we all enjoyed. I hope the season was one of celebration and relaxation. 2020 sure surprised us all! I am amazed at how resilient we are and all the good that came from a difficult and stressful time.

This time of year is exciting in school! January to April is the time we typically see the most growth in student achievement. It is exciting to see kids learn and progress!

Thank you for remembering to send a water bottle and a clean mask with your child each day. I look forward to the time we don't have to remember masks, but for now we will continue to do whatever we need to so we can be at school! If your child forgets their mask or water bottle we will be having them call home. It is difficult to continue to fund disposable masks and water bottles. We do have some masks and cups for water for emergencies. Thank you for your understanding, donations and support.

This Friday is Stand Strong Day! Remind your child to dress up in whatever way they choose to stay strong! We love seeing all the sports themes, and school spirit on this day. We will honor students from each class for being Stand Strong kids in our morning announcements.

Next week (Jan. 11-14) we will have parent conferences. You should receive an email from your child's teacher(s) this week to sign up for a time to visit. You may choose to conference over the phone, via zoom or in person. If you choose in person, please help us adhere to social distancing guidelines by making arrangements for other children to be home while you conference and wear a mask while in the school building.

In School or Remote Learning

Each term parents have the opportunity to change their learning choice from in school to remote or remote to in school. These changes can only occur at the term. If you wish to make a change for your child, please fill out the survey by clicking the link in the email sent out earlier today and the week before Christmas break. The link can also be found on the Nebo District web page. If you have any questions about either option, please feel free to give me a call. 801-489-2820
