Welcome to the Prairie Point Panther Press!
Thank you Nurse Dominique and Nurse Clerk Miss. Jen
Parent Pick up Reminders
Thank you for getting your child picked up on time (by 4:00pm) at the end of each day and pulling all the way up so that we can load more students in and get families home in a timely fashion.
We know many families utilize this line and it can be a long wait, but we appreciate your patience and partnership to keep this process running smooth and allowing for our helpers to keep their main focus on children.
May 19th is Bike to School Day
Prairie Point’s annual Bike to School Day will be on Thursday, May 19th. (Weather Permitting)
Students can ride their bikes to school and receive a bicycle key chain token for riding their bikes to school. The classroom with the highest percentage of bike riders will win the Golden Pedal Award.
This event builds on the popularity of Walk to School Day, which is celebrated across the country – and the world – each October. Many communities and schools have been holding spring walk and bicycle to school events for years. National Bike to School Day provides an opportunity for schools across the country to join together to celebrate and to build off of the energy of National Bike Month.
Designated areas in the back of the school will be set up for students to park/lock their bikes.
May 20th is Field Day
Students should wear their grade level color t-shirts, comfortable clothing and gym shoes.
Don’t forget to send a water bottle that day and apply sunscreen before coming to school.
