Jamaican heritage

The Jamaican culture is mixed,mostly ethnically diverse. There are many nations and peoples,the majority are African ,then Indian and Chinese,then the minority is European. Jamaican tradition are ritualistic acts,that are carried over a specific period of time and events.


In Jamaica they celebrate new years, ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Easter, Emancipation boxing day, Independence day.


Ritualistic act's for special event's on holidays like Christmas and Easter.

Extra Information

Art's and clothing are both important in defining Jamaican culture.


In Jamaica they eat famous Jerk chicken and pork,mangoes and sugar canes.
