Don't Miss Virtual Family Crew - Tues. April 12 at 6:00pm

Click here to join the Zoom Meeting

Please join us for monthly Family Crew sessions to engage and connect with our families during which we will engage and connect with our families. Each Family Crew session will have a specific focus related to the work we do at The Graham School, such as Crew, Mindfulness, Restorative Practices, Social-Emotional Learning, etc. The format of the meetings will be determined each month as we keep an eye on the evolving COVID situation in Franklin County and continue to prioritize the safety of students, families, and staff.

Crew is a core practice at The Graham School that is essential to bringing our community together by allowing for relationship building, promoting shared understandings through equity and inclusion, and building positive connections with peers. Crew is also a vehicle for developing and supporting students socially, emotionally and academically. During these challenging times, Crew is perhaps more important than it has ever been for our community. Last year we expanded Crew work to include Family Crew, with the intent to engage and connect our families through our culture of Crew.

Attention Senior Families

On Saturday June 4, 2022, The Graham School’s Class of 2022 will be celebrating its graduation. Throughout these trying times of COVID, it has been an adventure, a challenge, and a privilege to work with your student. As graduation day approaches, we want you to be aware of the schedule of senior activities celebrating the achievements of our students. We have also included information on mandatory participation in various events and graduation fees. Please make note of the information, and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Graduation will be a time to remember. Graham graduates do not just walk across a stage and receive a diploma. On Thursday, May 26, seniors will present their symposiums to the parents, mentors, and the underclassmen of Graham from 9:00am until noon. Symposium presentations are the reflective stories of seniors detailing their lives at Graham, their walkabouts, and their futures. We encourage making arrangements to attend your student’s final symposium. Exact times on the 26th will be given to each student before the 26th.

In the afternoon of May 26th, the whole school will participate in our annual awards assembly. Seniors will be recognized, applauded, and given caps and gowns at that time. On Friday, June 3rd, seniors will meet at The Tree of Life Northridge Campus in Columbus for graduation rehearsal from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. On Saturday, June 4th at The Graham School we will begin the day with our graduation breakfast and senior videos from 10:00am until noon (seniors and staff only). Between noon and 1:00pm, seniors and families will travel to the graduation ceremony at Tree Of Life School, where the commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00pm. No tickets will be necessary to attend our graduation. We will be holding the graduation ceremony in the gym at the school.

The graduation fee this year will be $50. This fee goes toward graduation processing and venue expenses, as well as the cost of the caps and gowns. Please make your check payable to The Graham School, and note “graduation fee” in the memo. We ask that this payment be given to the front desk no later than May 15. You can also pay online through the TGS website school store using this link: https://tinyurl.com/tgsgradfee.

Please note the following mandatory commitments:

  • Senior Graduation Meeting - Friday May 6th, 2022 8am-12pm, more details coming

  • Symposium Rehearsals

    • Wednesday May 11th in the morning - all seniors

    • Wednesday May 18th by appointment with crew leaders

    • Tuesday May 24th by appointment with crew leaders

  • Symposium Presentations and TGS Awards Assembly - Thursday, May 26th, 9:00am-3:15pm at TGS

  • Graduation Rehearsal - Friday, June 3rd, 1-2:30p at Tree of Life Northridge Campus, Columbus

  • TGS Graduation at Tree of Life School Northridge Campus, Columbus - Saturday, June 4th from 1:00-3:00pm

Failure to participate in mandatory senior events may result in not walking at graduation. We look forward to sharing this significant and joyful time with you. Should you have any questions or concerns between now and graduation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
