Message From the Principal
We are now past the midterm for quarter three and about to go on a three day weekend. There will be no school on Monday in honor of Presidents Day. We want to thank all of our families for an amazing winter carnival. We had a terrific turnout and so much fun!
Below you will see lots of events happening in the coming weeks. During the week of February 27th, we will have many activities for Read Across America week. That week we will have our book fair. We have a spirit week to celebrate reading. There is also a reading challenge and an opportunity for parents to read to their child's class on 3/3 (must have a background check on file). On Friday, 3/3, we will also have our Breakfast with a Loved One. Students can come and have breakfast with a loved one between 8am and 8:45am. The book fair will also be running at that time if you wish to visit. Students can be dropped off in the gym when finished or you can take them through car rider line. We do need to have all guests leave the building at 8:45am so that we can begin arrival. We hope to see you there!

Jay Lovell

Culture Guide
E= Events: We cannot control things that happen
R= Response: We can control our response to the event
O=Outcome: Having a proper response will get the desired outcome.
This concept is powerful for all of us. Daily, many things happen that are out of our control. We can lash out or we can pause, think, and then respond. Pausing for reflection allows us to get the outcome that we need and want.
