General COVID-19 Protocol Updates
Thank you all for the patience and determination it takes as we work through the protocols required to be able to have students in school five days a week, all day! For the time being, we are asked by OHA and ODE to implement the following:
- Utilize outdoor eating options (breakfast and lunch outside)
- Encourage students to wear masks outside or stay 6ft apart
- Remain 3ft apart in classrooms
- Utilize outdoor spaces as best as possible
We just received a 40 foot x 40 foot tent to use for student learning outdoors. Next week we will move our outdoor eating area to the back under-cover area as the weather is changing. We encourage students to wear layers of clothing so they are warm and comfortable while outside.
iPads
The CSD has set up a Family Tech Support Site to help families learn about their student's iPad, understand how to log in and troubleshoot, suggestions for setting up iPad boundaries at home, how to get help, and general tips and tricks! This is a great spot for resources!!

When Can My Child Return To School After Being Sick?
Message From PTO
Dear Lee Community,
Lee Elementary's Fall Fundraiser starts today! Our fall fundraiser is the biggest fundraiser of the year and helps to fund field trips, special school events like carnival, school programs such as Art Literacy, school improvement projects like our soon to arrive outdoor learning center, online learning programs such as Moby Max, classroom supplies and equipment and much much more!
Today your child(ren) will bring home a fundraiser packet. Please make sure to write your child's name, teacher, and other information on both the outer packet and the order form inside. Your family can use just one order form and one online account OR you can set up an account and order form for each child in your family. It's up to you!
Please help guide your child in the right direction to fundraise. Creating an account online is the quickest and easiest way to reach multiple people quickly. If you'd prefer to use the order form inside the packet, please ensure your children only sell to people they know. Coaches, neighbors, relatives, and coworkers are good safe options.
Inside the packet you will find a paper with coupons at the bottom. Fill these out as your child sells items and return the coupons to school. Your child will trade in his/her coupon at school for a Coop Keychain! The more coupons they return, the more cool keychains they collect!
We are asking every child to participate! Selling just ONE ITEM is participating and your child will be rewarded for it! Every child that sells at least one item will receive a sweet treat for participating! And the incentives just build from there. See the video link below and/or the outside of the packet for additional prizes your child can earn.
And finally, we're having an ICE CREAM EXTRAVAGANZA!!! As an added bonus, this year we will have an ice cream party for the children in families that collectively sell 20 items or more! Your children will enjoy ice cream sundaes, an extra recess, music, balloons, and a prize bag! Fun!!
Fundraiser dates are Sept. 20 - Oct. 8. If you have any questions, please email PTO at philanderlee.pto@gmail.com or call 1-888-816-1116 and we will be happy to help you!
On behalf of the PTO board and the staff and students at Lee, thank you for doing your part to make our fundraiser a success!!!
