Rise to Power

Constantine made an alliance with Maximian, and married his daughter, Fausta. with Maximian no longer to content, now a man maned Licinius challenged Constantine. Constantine victorious took over Greece and the Balkans, and took the throne for most of his life.

Major Achievements While in Power

Constantine was the first Roman Emperor to eventually convert to Christianity. He also built New Rome.

Fall From Power

He tried to pass leadership to his three sons along with two of his nephews. He hoped he would ensure a bloodless succession that way, but after his death there was struggles for power

Lasting Influence

Constantine the Great is mostly remembered for being the first Christian Emperor of Rome.
