Taylor's Territory
Class news for Jan. 20 - 23
Welcome Miss Carrell!
Dear Parents and Students,
Hello, I am Miss Kimberly Carrell. I will be joining Mrs. Taylor’s class as a student teacher for the next 8 weeks. I could not be more excited for this experience. I feel very privileged to have this opportunity at The Discovery School. I am greatly looking forward to getting to know each student and helping them to become lifelong learners.
I wanted to write to you all to let you know a little about myself. I will be graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies K-6 in May 2015. I attended my freshman year of college at Lipscomb University and have completed the last three years at MTSU. I have grown up in Murfreesboro and loved every minute of it.
I have always dreamed of being a teacher. I want you to know that the opportunity to be a part of Mrs. Taylor’s fourth grade class is something I feel very honored to have. I look forward to all that I will learn from the community at The Discovery School.
Once again, I am looking forward to getting to know each of you!
Sincerely,
Miss Carrell

Finally, I want to say a special thank you for all the wonderful gifts and gift cards I received at Christmas. I have finally rounded up the thank you cards from a missing teacher bag - only have 5 of them... so I will deliver these cards tomorrow. I am still enjoying the gift cards. My husband really likes the restaurant ones. Hahahaha!
