HAVE YOU SCHEDULED YOUR PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE?
This information was shared with you through a BlackBoard Connect e-mail from D200:
February parent/teacher conferences will be held for all D200 schools on
Thurs, February 13 from 2:00 - 9:00 PM
Fri, February 14 from 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Additional days/times may be available for Dual Language classes
Parents/guardians may schedule their own individual teacher conferences using MEET THE TEACHER which allows parents the flexibility to schedule conferences for all of their children at the same time. If you need assistance with scheduling your child’s conferences, please contact the school office (815-338-0473). There are scheduling kiosks available at each school for you to use as well.
You are a vital partner in the education of your child. Parent/teacher conferences play an integral role in providing feedback regarding your child’s progress as well as formulating individual plans for success. We look forward to seeing you at conferences in February.
ASSEMBLY & YOYO SALE
NED’s Mindset Mission Assembly is visiting our school! NED and our students take a journey to find their positive mindset. The show is filled with storytelling, humor, illusions and amazing yo-yo tricks where our kids learn the hidden message in NED's name:
Never give up — understand The Power of YET
Encourage others — spark courage in other people
Do your best® — always be learning and growing
Do you want to learn to yo? A yo-yo is both a mindset tool and a tangible reminder of NED's message. While learning to yo, children will make mistakes, try again and improve.
Yoyos may be purchased in the school office on Feb. 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11.
