This Week In ELA
1. Begin a new focus text in our May/June 2020 Storyworks Article - "The Children Who Escaped the Nazis"
2. Through this text, we will learn about a remarkable effort to save Jewish children from the Nazis before World War II.
3. We will also learn about the rise of Antisemitism and its consequences.
This Week In Math
1. Recognize that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left
2. Practice new and familiar math skills in Dreambox and Splash Math
Due By Friday, October 23, 2020
English Language Arts
1. Complete ALL INDEPENDENT ASSIGNMENTS .These assignments will be graded and used as apart of your daily classwork grades.
2. Read daily for 10 minutes this week. Try to switch up your reading genres. This week, be sure to read a Nonfiction Text and complete your daily reading log, using the link below, titled Daily Reading Log.
