HONESTY is the focus for March!
This month we’re talking about Honesty!
The dictionary defines it as: “fairness and straightforwardness of conduct; adherence to the facts.”
The definition we are using in class is:
Honesty: living truthfully in your words and actions and thoughts!
Honesty is a lot more than just telling the truth – it is also about thinking and acting in a way that feels consistent, kind, and sincere. What do we do with honest thoughts that aren’t very nice? How do our actions in Honesty help or hurt our relationships. Over the course of the month, we will talk about people from Emily Bronte to Jackie Robinson who lived out Honesty in their words and actions. We discover new games and techniques to make us more honest competitors and more thoughtful friends. It will be a time of challenging, but rewarding conversations – thanks for being a part of them!
TK/K Registration Opens on January 18th for the 2022-23 School Year
COVID Protocols/Testing- *Updated Guidance*

UPDATE:
On December 30, 2021, CDPH updated its guidance and reduced the isolation requirement for individuals that have tested positive for COVID-19 to five days if symptoms have resolved and they test negative on day five. Similarly, quarantine due to exposure to a positive case has been reduced to five days with a negative test. Additionally, all adults and students will continue to wear face coverings when indoors on all school campuses, regardless of their vaccination status.
Also, the results of At-Home Tests (Rapid Antigen tests recommended) may be utilized to clear persons to return to school in the updated scenarios above. RUSD required the submittance of an At-Home Test Validation Form and along with a photo of the result with name and test date written on plastic test case.
