Learning Model
We are operating in the Red Zone, instruction is being delivered remotely along with the approved Phase In Plan by the School Board for identified students accessing the school in one of two pods for special services.
The School Board held a work session this past Tuesday to continue discussions on students return to school. Action on this topic is on the agenda for the Board meeting on Monday Dec. 14th, so we may have answers for families prior to the Winter Break.
Final Exams Schedule
Thursday 17th & Friday the 18th have special bell schedules to accommodate required final exams for High School Classes. Wed, Thurs, and Friday teachers will have time to prepare and grade exams, they will not be holding instructional support time from 1:30-2:45 the last three days of this week. Busses will run on current schedules so students can remain in the pod until 2:45.
Thursday 1st period exam - 9:30 to 11am
Thursday 2nd period exam - 12pm to 1:30pm
&
Friday 3rd period exam - 9:30 to 11am
As a reminder no finals can be given early, a final exam for all HS courses is required, part of which must during the scheduled times, make-up exams can be coordinated through the classroom teacher, as well as assisted by the office when we return on January 4th for Make-ups.
B4B - Before the Bell is a morning meeting for students, the next one will be Wednesday morning at 9am, the zoom invite will be sent to students. Friday we had 50 students attend the morning meeting and we gave away some cool prizes as well as had the opportunity to be meet Ashley Miller our Prevention Intervention Specialist. Which is a new position that Eielson has not ever had, we are excited to have Ms. Miller join us as part of our Student Support and Prevention Services Program.

High School Sports Info
Sports seasons continue to be adjusted and updated weekly. While operating in the Red Zone all of our seasons are on hold currently through January 4th.
Out of season conditioning for ASAA approved sports may occur following specific mitigation plans. These MUST follow all guidelines, be held at the School, and wear masks throughout. This week the out of season conditioning, (not scrimmages, or games) may begin for boys high school basketball, it is limited to 18 participants. Girls basketball will begin as soon as coaching requirements are in place. Questions please contact our Activities Coordinator - Connie Browder at ext. 30507 at the school for more information.
