Dear Marysville Families,
Happy Sunny Friday.
What a delightful Spring day we had. There was much green to be seen throughout the school today along with many smiles.
A huge thank you to the Marysville Family Association for bringing back Popcorn Fridays. This was the first one in a long time and it was much enjoyed. Thanks to everyone that prepared the popcorn and to everyone that waited in the long line. I'm so glad the weather cooperated for us! I love seeing families and students able to gather together again at school.
The next Popcorn Friday is scheduled for Friday April 7th.
Our 5th grade students visited Kellogg Middle School today. It was Kellogg's first in person Rising 6th Grader visit and tour. There is much excitement along with some normal anxiety. Hopefully this tour will help with all of that.
Incoming Sixth grade students will be placed into electives but will have an optional opportunity to have a band or choir. Parents and students who want this year-long elective need to let Kellogg Middle School know by March 31, 2023. All parents who have an email address have already been sent this information. See the flyer below for more information.
Please contact the fifth grade teachers or the school counselor, Leslie Rosenfield with any questions or concerns.
We have one more week of school before Spring Break. There will be no school the week of March 27th - March 31st.
Next week on Thursday March 23rd we will have our first Connect to Kindergarten Event.
All families with children that will be in Kindergarten next year are invited.
We will meet in the Marysville Library from 3:45 - 5:00 pm.
