Message from Dr. Epperson

I can't believe we only have one more week before Thanksgiving break. The students are doing great, and I know they are looking forward to some time off.

We have a couple of events this week that students will enjoy.

StuCo is sponsoring Caps for Kids November 17, 18, 19. Students will give a dollar to wear a hat and they will receive a wristband to wear that day.

The CMS ELAR department will host a read-in day on Friday, November 20th. The students (and maybe the teachers) have asked for an extra PJ day. So, students may wear school appropriate pajamas next Friday.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Lost and Found Clean-Out

The lost and found in the foyer of the building will be emptied next week. If your student is missing items, they should stop by and look before the end of next week.

Office Pick-UP

If you arranged for items (shirts, calculators, school work, etc) to be picked up in the front office, please take care of this next week.

The front main carpool line is the best and safest way to pick up students after school. If you use the parking lot, please be mindful of those around you and do not block traffic. If your student is taking a bit longer to exit the building, you may find a parking space to wait. We recognize there is congestion, but carpool is pretty quick. Our first goal is to get everyone home safely. Thank you!

Students Attending After School Events

Any student attending an extracurricular event after school hours as an audience member or team fan, must be accompanied by an adult this year. One adult may bring a group of friends if the adult will stay for the duration of the event and provide a ride home after the event. The parent and student(s) must have a ticket if the event is ticketed.

If a student has been sent home to monitor health symptoms or is quarantining, they should not attend extracurricular events.
