A Summer Talk by Rev. Fr. Anthony Ugolnik
Fr. Anthony Ugolnik is Professor Emeritus at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster PA. He has also been pastor at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Coatesville, PA for the past 12 years.
Fr. Ugolnik has lectured and published in the area of theology and literature. He has been a Fellow and lecturer at the Ecumenical Institute at St. John's University and Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota, the Theological Academy in St. Petersburg,Russia, and at the Center for Theological Inquiry at Princeton, N. J.
He joined the Ukrainian jurisdiction while he was resident at the Theological Academy in St. Petersburg, for reasons which he will be happy to explain when he joins us for his talk.
The Evening Layout
- Paraklesis (Service of Supplication) to the Theotokos beginning at 6:30pm
- Followed by Lenten Potluck
- Talk by Fr. Anthony Ugolnick (beginning around 7:30pm)
- The evening will end around 8:30pm
CHILD CARE will be provided
Bring a small potluck dish to share with everyone
Since it is a Wednesday we will be fasting from meat, dairy, fish, wine, and olive oil.
