John Lee of Folium Partners will be presenting his "The Perfect Pitch” seminar for entrepreneurs and other business managers who need to sell their ideas to an audience and then to ask for funding or other help. The seminar goes beyond the basics of PowerPoint or Keynote slideshows by teaching how to create pitch “recipes”, giving presenters maximum confidence and flexibility to suit any situation. Novice presenters and experienced managers will learn easy techniques and a few secrets to help keep the audience focused and engaged so that the messages have the best chance of hitting their targets.

John H. Lee has spent 30 years bridging the multitude of gaps between creative dreams and engineering realities. From the world's first desktop publishing storefront to digital video, interactive television, and broadband applications, John has always put an emphasis on enriching technology projects with an imaginative or innovative twist. His career includes roles with a myriad of products important to the development and growth of companies such as Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, and Cisco Systems. His career has taken him around the world to work on projects with the BBC, Disney, UCLA, NBC, National Geographic, Singapore TV, and many other groups. He currently manages operations at Folium Partners, an online services company for digital publishing, and acts as a mentor to a handful of entrepreneurs. Raised in West Virginia, John was educated in Denmark, at the University of Kentucky, and at UC Berkeley.
