NEW APP! 2nd Grade
This app was just added to your iPads today after a teacher request. Check it out!
More Seesaw!
There are so many things you can do with this one app/site! Read below for ideas in grades K-2 and 3-5.
Techy Valentines
Send Valentines from students to their parents through Seesaw! It's a quick and easy way to get started with this program! See below for more info!
Book Shelfies in Seesaw
Students can easily share what they are reading with their classmates and with you! Have them click the photo (camera) in Seesaw, then take a picture of themselves with their current books they're reading. Before they click the green check mark to submit, they will see options to add text, audio, captions, and labels. A caption is the best place to have them write their review of the book. To share this with their classmates, just make sure you have allowed students to see each other's work under your Manage Class tab. It's really cool when they can comment on the other reviews. Just be sure to go over what an appropriate comment is before doing this:).
Valentines in Seesaw
Students can take a picture of themselves within Seesaw, then click the green check button. They will see options to rotate the picture, add audio, draw, label, and caption. For Valentine's day, it could be fun to have them add an audio Valentine's message to their parents. They could also label their picture with things they love about their parents, and add some heart drawings:). Be sure to invite parents to Seesaw so they can see this work of art! See the video below for more info (start at 6:22 to see this idea)!

Explain Your Math through Seesaw
Students can draw out their answers to math problems on Seesaw--both on the iPads and the Chromebooks (the pictures below were from Chromebooks in Mrs. Garvey's 4th grade today). You can even have them type out their answers on the label option, or add audio to their answers so they can explain their thought processes!
