TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!

This week we offer our thanks and gratitude for all that our teachers do for our students. This is especially true now as we continue our return to school with in person learning on Fridays.

Since last March, teaching and learning has undergone a major transformation. The future of education will forever be changed and that it is a good thing. As we move forward, our teachers will take the best of what we've learned to create better opportunities for our students.

Thank you to all our Mariner educators and to all of the those who inspire our students everyday!

Drinking Water. Drinking water seems like a basic thing that every parent forces us to do, but really it benefits our bodies and our minds. In addition to the health benefits that come with drinking the proper amounts of water each day, staying hydrated will also make you feel better mentally. The proper amount of water for kids to drink is anywhere between six to eight 8oz cups of water everyday. This is equivalent to 48-64 ounces of water, daily! Drinking this amount of water everyday keeps your brain function elevated and helps you feel energized throughout the day. Staying hydrated helps to reduce stress levels in the brain, which will help you to feel better mentally as well. Drinking water may not always seem that beneficial, but in reality staying fully hydrated will make your body and mind feel 100% better than if you are dehydrated. So today and every day, stay hydrated and happy! Today in morning

meeting, talk about how you keep yourself hydrated and happy.
