LES Giving Tree Angel Program
Working together is wonderful way to show somebody you care.
At LES we believe working together can make a positive difference in the lives of children. For this reason, our PTSA is sponsoring our LES Giving Tree Angel Program.
This program is a way to support those in our community that may be less fortunate than we are this upcoming holiday season.
Located in the front office of our school will be The Giving Tree. This tree has Angels on it
with the things that we know children in our community need and want this holiday season.
Please feel free to come by, select an Angel from the tree and bring back purchased items
wrapped and labeled. Your support is greatly appreciated and will go directly to our LES
Community.
The Angels are on the tree in the front office. Please be aware the last day to turn in Angel
Gifts will be Monday December 16th. Also, please remember to sign out your Angel so that
we can keep track of all our Angels.
Parking Lot Safety - PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND WATCH FOR PEDESTRIANS
There has been an increase of speeding through our parking lot. A student was almost hit this past week. Teachers have also mentioned that when they are crossing kids in our parking lot, many times cars do not stop when the stop sign is up.
You will notice a painted reminder that our speed hump is not a safe place to cross.
We have also painted a clear crosswalk in our parking lot. Please stay within the cross walk when walking across with your child.
