SLO/GBE- There have been many problems with technology and being in a team/out of a team for the SLOs. My recommendation at this point is that if you are in a team with your grade level teachers, just complete the Student Population and Baseline Data by listing all the teachers by last name with each teacher’s data. Remember, we have until November 15 at this time.
Dr. Pew- Dr. Pew’s visit has been postponed until November 30 due to a conflict on her calendar. Her time to visit also changed to 10:30-12:00 or 12:30. Melinda Reid volunteered, but the time change will not work for that visit. I have Kari Doster on the list for her to visit. I need at least 2-3 more teachers - need a Related Arts teacher (10:35-11:00) and a 4th and 5th grade teacher. If I don’t get a VOLUNTEER, I will have to VOLUNTOLD someone.
Kudos to:
· Kim Brown is definitely the calmest person I know in the face of food being delivered from the ever-present Jimmy John guy, parents standing at her desk with more food to eat with their children, running a copy for someone, and juggling two phone calls!
· Mr. Jimmy who always has a smile and is anywhere needed at all times. We all hope you have a quick recovery and will be back with us soon!
· Melinda Reid & 2nd grade for sticking with the repeated attempts to get their team data into their SLO. Melinda copied and pasted work on multiple occasions.
· April Smith is another person who is always willing to work with us to find ways for teachers and administrators to better connect with our students who struggle. Thanks, April!

Veteran's Day Program
We need your help. Please ask your students to invite any Veterans they or their parents know to attend. Grandparents flew in from many states last year just to attend this event. Also, staff and students are encouraged to wear either Red, White, and Blue attire or Camo attire for the day. One student from each class who displays the most Red, White, and Blue or Camo attire will get to eat lunch with a Veteran. Thank you Dr. Beard, Mr. Shevy, Ms. Nassy, Sra. Silva, Mrs. Rutledge, Mrs. Phillips, and Mrs. Holliday for all your hard work in organizing this most special event.
The times for each grade level to attend are:
8:30 - 9:30 - Kindergarten and 3rd
9:30 - 10:30 - 1st and 4th
10:30 - 11:30 - 2nd and 5th
Happy Birthday!!!
Mrs. McGuirt - Nov. 7
Mrs. Simmons - Nov. 23
Mrs. Shumpert - Nov. 28
