Falcon Ridge Family Updates
October 19, 2020
Second Quarter Starts This Week
It's hard to believe that second quarter starts today! With the change of season comes the cooler weather. Please remind your student to wear a warm coat as the temperature drops this fall.
Last week the Central District Health notified schools in Ada County that we are in the "red" category of community spread. We will continue learning in the hybrid model unless we are directed otherwise by Central District Health or the Falcon Ridge board.
As we continue hybrid instruction, we would like to emphasize the importance of the school/family partnership. Please help ensure your student completes school work on the remote day just as he/she would in the classroom. Tyler SIS is a helpful communication tool for grades and to check for missing assignments. Please do not hesitate to communicate with your child's teacher if you need any clarification. We are teaming together for your child's success!
We will continue MAPS testing this week for students in first through eighth grades. Our monthly character trait is excellence, and some of our students have already earned a Falcon Card.
Next Monday and Tuesday Dorian Photography will visit Falcon Ridge to take individual student photos.
Have a wonderful week.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jorgensen
