Learning Commons - Closed for Exams

The Learning Commons will be used for Diploma Exam Writing and will be closed to students not writing on: January 11, 12, and January 20-28. The textbook window will remain open during this time, so please see the librarian there with any library-related questions. Best wishes to those writing!

Textbook Return

Are you done with your textbooks? Textbooks can be returned to the Learning Commons textbook window and LC book drops now! All your textbooks must be returned by January 25th. And don't forget to pick up your deposit from the textbook window! **Student ID is required to pick up your deposit.

Grad Service Project: WRISTBANDS

Here is another service project team fundraiser. Please help support them if you can! Team Caine is selling purple silicone wristbands that read "mental health matters" to help support the Smiles Thru Lindsey Foundation. They are available for purchase through their instagram @students4goodmentalhealth. Orders are due by January 15th and will be delivered by the end of January.

Grad Service Project: BOTTLE DRIVE

The Grad Service Project team was planning to have a bottle drive on January 2nd. However, due to AHS restrictions, this event has been postponed to January 11-15. Bottles will be able to be dropped off at the school the week of January 11-15 or if you would like to take your own bottles in and donate the amount to Smiles Thru Lindsey, the amount could be etransferred to

Optimist International Scholarship Program (Essay Contest)

Please submit 4 copies of your essay to Ms. Halter by January 30,2021. This year's topic is "Reaching Your Dreams by Choosing Optimism". Winning essays at the Red Deer Club level will be considered at the District level for the chance to win $2,500. More details and to download the application:
