OLVCS Updates
Led By the Spirit...............................June 4, 2020
Good evening,
Please see the video below, as I embark on my retirement I thought the best way to say thanks would be in a video. Please share with your children too, I finish with a message to them.
Please note my official last day is June 30th, although I am taking some unused vacation days to prepare for my daughter's wedding later this month.
More Updates will follow this month.
We will be able to celebrate our 8th Graders tomorrow night with a Liturgy of the Word. (also with Diocesan approval) I am very proud of this group, they have handled the move to remote learning with grace and grit. They have been 'Virtually' the best class we have ever had. :)
Make it a Great Day! #We'veGotThis

CONGRATULATIONS HELENA AND KATIE!!!
Congratulations to Helena Sicree and Katie Marflak!!
In January, seven OLV middle school students entered a drawing contest featured by Music K - 8 Magazine. Contest entries were submitted by Mrs. Capozzi and chose a student created design to be represented on the magazine cover for the May/June 2020 issue.
The contest had over 3,000 entries from all over the nation.
Our very own Helena Sicree won 1st runner up with a cash prize of $125.00 and a copy of her picture printed on the front inside cover of the magazine.
The talented Katie Marflak brought in a very nice 4th place, with a cash prize of $50.00 and her picture is featured on the back cover of the magazine.
Helena's entry is shown first; then Katie's.
OLV is so proud of both girls!!

New Survey Being Done By Penn State and Data 4 Action.
A new survey study is being done to assess Centre County residents' responses to the Covid-19 outbreak. The purpose of the survey is to provide community and university decision-makers with data about changes in COVID-19 prevalence as well as changes in residents’ and students’ experiences related to the pandemic. You can take the survey by phone or online, and it should take you about 10 minutes to complete.
