Weekly Update
Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year! I hope that you and your family were able to relax, have fun, and build memories together this summer. I always love this time of year; especially the excitement and the anticipation that each new school year brings. I am so thrilled to be starting the year in person with all of our students! This is the first bulletin that you will be getting from me on a weekly basis throughout the year. I wanted to review a few quick pieces of information as we begin the year. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
Staffing Updates
- Ms. Young was originally set to be a long term sub for Mrs. Carlson, but was recently hired to teach 4th grade at Elk Ridge for the entire school year!
- Ms. Stoddard will be the long term sub for Mrs. Carlson.
General Information
- Our school day schedule is as follows: Monday, 10:00-3:25; Tuesday- Friday, 9:00-3:25
- Bus route information will be updated in Skyward on August 31st.
- Health attestations are not required this year. With that being said, please remember to keep your child home when they are sick or have been exposed to COVID.
- We were able to continue our grant to support our school lunch program. School lunches are FREE for all students.
- Masks are required indoors at all times for adults and students.
- School supply lists are available on our website.
Dismissal Information
- Please contact our office ASAP if there are any changes to your child's end-of-day transportation plans.
- If you are picking up your child in the car, please follow our loop. We will have one teacher designated to ask parents daily who you are picking up and they will direct you to a colored cone (red, orange, green, blue, yellow, or purple). When you get to that cone another teacher will help escort your child in the car.
- If you are picking up your child and you will be using Heather Lane, please wait by the fire hydrant. Mrs. Schutz or I will escort students to Heather Lane during dismissal.
- If you would like to park and then get your child, please go to the end of the crosswalk near Copperwynd. We will not be dismissing students across the parking lot to parents as it is a safety concern.
Thank you, Ranger Families, for your partnership and support! I am looking forward to seeing all of our Rangers, new and returning, later this week!
