Summer Letters & School Supply Lists
General Tech Supplies:
Our Tech team would also like to remind all of you (K-8) that a set of headphones/earbuds that can be kept at school will be hugely useful for whenever you are working with your Chromebooks. Students in grades 5-8 may also want to consider a Chromebook sleeve (that fits 11.6” screens) to help protect their assigned school Chromebook when switching classes or traveling with their Chromebook. There are many affordable options available and are far less costly than making repairs to a Chromebook that gets damaged accidentally. Ex: https://amzn.to/3ly4YFP
All students returning to Chichester will need to have their school Re-enrollment forms completed in ALMA Start prior to the start of the school year. These digital forms update our ALMA database with you and your child’s current contact information, your child’s current medical information and permission forms acknowledging school policies, allowing for emergency medical care and permission to use school technology/Chromebooks.
Some useful pieces of information to have on hand prior to beginning this process would be:
Your parent/guardian ALMA login information *Please reach out to Mrs.Duval if you need assistance (ccs-tech@sau53.org)
The link to ALMA Start (sau53.almastart.com)
The link to our online enrollment tutorials and FAQs (https://sites.google.com/sau53.org/ccs-enrollment/welcome)
Contact information for the child, parents/guardians, emergency contacts, child’s physician, etc.
A copy of your child’s current immunization & physical *There is an opportunity to upload this information within ALMA OR it can be brought to the school office prior to the start of school
A copy of any other documentation which might apply to your child (custody information, special education information, etc)
Our online enrollment tutorials and FAQs at https://sites.google.com/sau53.org/ccs-enrollment/welcome offer a lot of information, but if you have any questions or require assistance, please contact us.
For Technical questions about ALMA Start/accounts- Mrs.Duval, Digital Learning Specialist (ccs-tech@sau35.org)
For Medical information questions- Mrs.Strazzeri, School Nurse (jstrazzeri@sau53.org)

New Website Coming Soon!
We are excited to be launching our new website very soon. We've included a sneak peek below. We encourage you to explore the website once it launches and get a sense of what we have available. It has been designed to have a streamlined navigation menu and has features that will help keep our site and it’s visitors as up to date as possible. It is important to note that all schools within SAU53 are updating to this new website platform so you will find consistency across all SAU53 websites including the SAU53 District and School Boards site. Our goals for this change were to modernize our site, improve on the ability to navigate to what one is looking for, ensure it’s ease of use on mobile devices and to have it be a useful source of information, while being aesthetically pleasing, for the community, families, staff and students. We will soon be sharing information on some new features this website has to offer once it has launched.
As is always true with something new, some tweaks might need to be made to our new site as they arise. If you run into any problems, or are looking for something you would assume to be accessible from our website, please email ccs-tech@sau53.org so we can look into it.
