CD Bulletin
Dear Families,
As we settle into a new school year, we want to communicate with you that we will continue to not permit visitors in the lunchroom.
While we understand that this may come as a disappointment for some, our staff appreciates your understanding with this matter and trust you will find other opportunities to spend time with your children outside of the school day.
Please look forward to other opportunities to visit or volunteer at our school this year. Our first big event will be our annual fun run - the Cougar Chase! This will take place throughout the school day on October 7 and visitors and spectators will be welcome.
Thank you,
Shaunna LaPlant

PLEDGE SHEETS
Download HERE. Any student that turns in a pledge sheet (either printed up and sent to school or emailed electronically to david.blask@franklin.k12.wi.us) by Wednesday October 5th is entered into the lottery to give Mr. Blask a fancy haircut!

Included on the pledge sheets are the chance to have a shout out read by Mr. Blask on the microphone to your child while they complete their Cougar Chase for a $5 donation. ONLINE ABSENCE/ATTENDANCE FORM
As a reminder, when reporting a student absent for any reason, please communicate this using the online absence/attendance form here. This is a NEW form this year so if you bookmarked or made a shortcut to the old form from last year, please update. If your child is out sick, the form will also collect information about the symptoms and sickness your child is experiencing so our nursing staff can respond with next steps. Thank you for taking the time to complete this form as it really helps to streamline our processes. The form is located on our website under Parent/Student Info as well as a big button on each school’s home page.

FORTE THEATRE PRESENTS: THE SOUND OF MUSIC
The hills are alive with the sound of music! Join Forte Theatre Company for their mainstage debut at the Saber Center - and one of the most beloved musicals of all time. In Austria, 1938, an exuberant young governess brings music and joy back to a broken family, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazis gain power. With music and lyrics by Rodgers & Hammerstein, a cast of some of Milwaukee's top professional talent and FPS students playing some of the VonTrapp children, this is a theatrical experience not to be missed!
