A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Next week many of our Sabers will begin to take Advanced Placement (AP) exams. The AP exams are created by the College Board. Success on the exams often can earn students college credit when they go to school after graduation. AP courses and exams are additional indicators of college readiness. We encourage every student to take a course of interest that is a college equivalent (AP, Project Lead the Way, Transcripted Credit, etc.). Remember, while exam preparation and studying is important, success on the exams is the product of seven months of preparation (and years of previous schooling) in addition to the review students do in these last days.
In advance of any exam, please encourage your student to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy meal.
Good luck Sabers, you got this!
Sincerely,
Mike Vuolo

18-21 TRANSITION PROGRAM PARTICIPATES IN MOCK INTERVIEWS
On April 19th, our 18-21 Transition program co-hosted Mock Interviews at the Franklin Field House in West Allis. There were 14 interviewers and lots of students. Students interviewed three times and were evaluated on interview skills. Students dressed up just like they would if they were in a real interview. Students answered questions from, tell me about yourself, to why should we hire you? It was a really fun time. Mike Spragg, Brian Karolewicz, Vicky Cordani, Kristin Lorino, and Jessica Fasanello (DVR) assisted from Franklin! After they were done interviewing, they were able to see their evaluations and look at what they did well and what they need to do to improve!
Thank you to our Transition Services program and West Allis for helping to put on this great event. #BetterCommunities

SABER ROBOTICS AT 2023 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Sadly, our Sabers were not selected to advance to the finals. Their competition time in Houston has come to an end. But the team does have something to hang their hat on for Worlds 2023.
Saber Robotics has been to World's 3 times in our 15 year history. This team won more matches and seeded higher than the other 2 years making this the best Saber Robotics team to perform at the World Championship.
Way to go Team 2506!!
