Good Afternoon,

It was great seeing so many parents and caretakers at conferences this past week! We are really rolling along now that spring has sprung! Monday marks the first day of ELA MCAS for students in grade four. Students should come to school fully rested and ready to begin testing by 8:30 AM. The complete MCAS schedule is posted in this weekly update.

Celebrating Community

As you know, the Pembroke Public Schools continue to celebrate our community. Here is a look at some of the things happening in our school.

Ice Cream Tuesdays

Just a friendly reminder that every Tuesday students have an opportunity to purchase ice cream with their lunch. The cost of the treat is $1.00. Students must pay by either cash or have a positive lunch account balance. If you have any questions about your child’s lunch balance, you can check it here.

Thinking of volunteering at Hobomock?

Please take a moment to check with the main office (781-294-0911) to see if your CORI is up to date. CORI’s are good for (3) years. Forms are available in the main office. You will need to physically bring your license to the main office for us to complete the background check. Thank you.

Pizza Bingo

Join us for a night of pizza, bingo & FUN!
$5/person or $20 max per family. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

To register, send in the form that was sent home with cash or check in an envelope.

We will have some markers but feel free to bring your own bingo daubers. If inclined, please bring a peanut-free dessert to share!

School and playground clean up with some planting of flowers as well. Please bring your own rakes, gardening gloves, and even a wheelbarrow if you have one! Come for the whole time OR for a short while!

Volunteer with the PTO!

Complete the Volunteer Inquiry Form. The PTO is strictly volunteer run. The more volunteers, the better experiences our students have. We are looking forward to an amazing school year and the many events the PTO plans and supports. PTO is a GREAT way to get involved in our community, support our kids, and meet new people! Whether you have an afternoon, evening, or a little more time to volunteer; we value your efforts! Thank you.

Keep helping all year long!

As a new board during the 2021-2022 year, we learned a lot and had a great year bringing back a lot of fun events, activities and fundraisers. We’re looking forward to an even more amazing 2022-2023 school year. We already have many events planned and would love to have more parents involved. It’s always good to see some fresh faces and get new ideas. Grab a friend and attend a meeting or reach out to volunteer. Whether it’s for an hour or if you want to coordinate an event, no amount of time is too small. The PTO is strictly volunteer based, so the more help we have, the better experience we can provide our children!

Download the App, take a picture of your receipts and raise money for Hobomock! It’s that easy! Remember each Box Top is worth $0.10 and they add up quickly!

Bay State Textiles

Our school has a donation bin in the back parking lot. It is emptied weekly, and the PTO receives monthly rebate checks based on the weight of the donations. It is an easy way to recycle clothing, shoes, and linens. Clean out your closets and help our school at the same time!

Pembroke Youth Lacrosse

The sessions starts 4/25 at the high school. It's 5:45 - 6:45 pm for 6 weeks. Sticks and smiles are all they need for Pembroke Titans Youth Lacrosse powered by Scoops!

Pembroke Boys Basketball Camp

If you have a son going into the 4th-9th grade next year and are looking for something fun for him to do this summer make sure to check out the Pembroke High School Boy’s Basketball Academy. Coach V is great, he’s sure to have a blast! June 26-30 (4th-6th grade), July 10-14 (7th-9th grade) from 9am - 2pm. Make sure to print out the form and send with check
