NOTIFICATION OF MEDICATION DISPOSAL
June 2023
Dear Parent / Guardian:
The last day of school is June 14, 2023. Medications are not to be stored in the school building over the summer. Medications must be picked up by the last day of school by dismissal time. Medications may be picked up prior to that date, please contact your school nurse to set up a date/time.
Please note that all medication(s) not picked up will be destroyed at the end of the last day of school. Medications are not kept for summer programs.
New medication forms can be found on the Pembroke Public Schools website under the Health Services tab for the next school year for you and the student’s physician/prescriber to complete over the summer. Medication forms expire at the end of each school year.
Per policy all medication must be delivered at the beginning of next school year by an adult. Medications will not be accepted from students.
Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school nurse. Have a nice summer.
Sincerely,
Andrea DePaul, MSN

Breakfast & Lunch Cost
Breakfast and lunch continue to be free for all students for the 2022-2023 school year. Water and snacks can be purchased for $1. Breakfast is available for students 15 minutes prior to the start of the instructional day.
Riding a Bike to School
Our Hobomock bikers have returned. Per our elementary handbook, students in grades 4-6 may ride their bicycles to school provided their parents sign a "save harmless" statement relieving the Pembroke School Department and its employees of all liability. All students who wish to take part in this privilege must wear helmets.
PROCEDURE:
Permission forms for bicycle riding to and from school may be obtained at the school office. Before a child is permitted to ride a bicycle to school the signed form must be on file in the school office. Helmet straps must be attached when riding to and from school. The School Department assumes no responsibility for damaged or lost bicycles while parked on school property.
Thinking of volunteering at Hobomock?
Please take a moment to check with the main office (781-294-0911) to see if your CORI is up to date. CORI’s are good for (3) years. Forms are available in the main office. You will need to physically bring your license to the main office for us to complete the background check. Thank you.

Keep helping all year long!
As a new board during the 2021-2022 year, we learned a lot and had a great year bringing back a lot of fun events, activities and fundraisers. We’re looking forward to an even more amazing 2022-2023 school year. We already have many events planned and would love to have more parents involved. It’s always good to see some fresh faces and get new ideas. Grab a friend and attend a meeting or reach out to volunteer. Whether it’s for an hour or if you want to coordinate an event, no amount of time is too small. The PTO is strictly volunteer based, so the more help we have, the better experience we can provide our children!
