By Landon Williams Gray

I bet you thought that I was talking about a real dragon. Why you have made a mistake! A komodo dragon is what I was talking about. People think that Komodo dragons are actual dinosaurs. Well those people are wrong and I'll prove it.

Komodo dragons live on a island called Komodo. This provides everything they need from the food they need to eat to the place they need to live.

They can live in many different environments but this one is just right for them.

The average size of a male Komodo dragon is 8 to 9 feet and about 200 lbs., according to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park, but they can reach a whopping 10 feet in meters in length. Females grow to 6 feet.

Komodo Dragons are large carnivores that eat many varieties of meat.

They have a poisonous bite that can poison the animals that they target. The Komodo Dragon has a poisonous bite that has a chemical smell that they can use to follow the rotting animal. Komodo Dragons make use of the smell to follow the animals, so when it dies, they can eat it.

See a Komodo dragon isn't a dinosaur. See a komodo dragon is just a big lizard with the scales.See i told you a komodo dragon is just a big lizard.Nothing special.I kept a promise to tell you a Komodo dragon is not a dragon. And I proved it.
