Our PTO has done it again! Our staff was pampered during National Teacher "Staff" Appreciation Week with a gift bag that had an awesome T-shirt and an Amazon gift card! What a wonderful way to show you care! :) This has not been an easy year for anyone and our PTO Board has gone above and beyond to make sure that our staff has what we need. Most importantly, they have shown us that they are here for us and will do whatever it takes to help our school community! Their support of our students, staff and families is invaluable!

**Our last PTO Meeting for the 2020-2021 School Year will be June 2, 2021 at 7 PM. This will be a virtual meeting and we hope you will join us!

SOL Testing

Our SOL Testing has begun! We wish all students who are taking the SOL Assessments GOOD LUCK! :) Communication for testing is made conducted through individual teachers. Mrs. Houseworth, Assistant Principal is our Testing Coordinator.

Student Devices

REMINDER - We will be collecting student devices in June! Please see the pictures below to help you identify the appropriate device and accessories for a quick and easy return!

Device Loan Agreements

As a reminder, the PWCS Parent-Teacher Handbook and Prince William County's Responsible Use Policy Regulation 295-1 have been included in the newsletter for your review. Please take a few moments to review and familiarize yourself with these two documents.

A few items we would like to emphasize are as follows:

(1) Student devices and access to the internet is for instructional purposes only and are not to be used for recreational activities.

(2) Once the student device is returned, all personal information or data that the student stored on the device will no longer be accessible.

(3) Parent/Guardian will reimburse Prince William County Schools (via Signal Hill Elementary School) for the cost of repairs and/or replacement should the student device be lost, stolen or damaged. The cost incurred will not exceed the original cost of the device and it's accessories. Parent/student agrees to contact the school within 5 days so that appropriate procedures can be put into action to ensure replacement. If a device is lost or stolen and the replacement cost places a financial hardship, the parent/guardian must contact the school to determine a solution to this difficulty.
