Middle School Entrance: Student Drop-off and Pick-up

• Middle school families will be expected to consistently use the Quarry Avenue entrance/exit on all student days to drop off and pick up students. Families should also use the new entrance during any other times that they are visiting the building during school hours or to attend after-school events.

Middle School Office Access

• During the school day, the Middle School office door is locked to maintain security. If you are dropping something off that your student has forgotten, place it on the table in the entryway and put their name on it. They may retrieve it when convenient.

Middle School Support Group Resources

• The Middle School has begun to host monthly Support Group Meetings.
  

  Families who are not able to attend these meetings in person can visit this site to access the information they may have missed.

Infinite Campus, Parent Portal

• Please continue to monitor your student’s academic progress through the Campus Portal and don’t hesitate to reach out to our staff for support if need be.
  

Attendance

• All absences from school, including late drop-off/early pick-up, will need to be reported to our attendance secretary, Miranda Winker, at msattendance@wm.k12.mn.us or (952) 955-0421. If you are planning an upcoming absence/vacation, please complete this form and return it to the MS office.

• Our health office is located in the middle school's main office area. Please contact our nurse, Kelly Maas, at 952-955-0411 or email kmaas@wm.k12.mn.us if needed.

Dismissal

• When middle school students are dismissed from school at 2:50 p.m. they are expected to go home unless they are attending a supervised afterschool program. Students are not allowed to hang out on the MS/HS campus for any reason. This includes waiting around until a game or activity begins later in the day.

Lost and Found

• There is a table with lost and found items added daily. Students are reminded each day, in announcements, to look through the pile. Families are welcome to look through this as well. Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year.
