If your student has not yet placed their Graduation Order for Cap & Gown and Announcements, there is still time. Your deadline to place your order is: October 7, 2023. - Your Senior Class Panoramic Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, October 3rd in the gym. CLICK HERE TO Pre-Register FOR THE CLASS PICTURE! Remember - this is the ONLY time pictures will be taken of your whole Senior class, so DON'T MISS OUT! You only have one chance to be a part of this special event, so BE THERE on October 3rd!

- We have lots of colleges visiting Castle View this fall. If you list a college in “college I’m applying to” or “colleges I’m thinking about” in Naviance, you will receive an e-mail notification about the visit as soon as it’s scheduled. If you don’t have colleges updated in Naviance, you will have to frequently visit Naviance or the College Visit calendar to check upcoming visits. You must register for each visit in Naviance and pick up your pass the morning of the visit.

- The Real Talk virtual event series is back! Tuesday, October 3, 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT HBCUs, PWIs, and You: Join us and connect directly with HBCU and PWI reps from across the country as they share real talk on selecting a college home that aligns with each student’s personality and college and career aspirations.

Students and their families can connect with current Black students who’ll spill the tea! Don't just hear it—experience it through their stories. - High school juniors and seniors (and their families) are invited to our upcoming Regis Open House on October 14. This is your chance to see what life is really like as a Regis student. Tell us about your interests, passions and what you hope to get out of college, and we'll connect you with Regis students and faculty who can give you the inside scoop on what it means to be a Regis Ranger! - Beware of approaching college application deadlines! Colorado FREE Application Days are October 17-19! Some colleges have deadlines as early as November 1st. Make sure to allow enough time for letters of recommendation. Some colleges also require documents from counselors. Know that if your deadline falls over a break, we will not be here to send. Life happens and sometimes teachers are not here, counselors are not here, or I'm not here to be able to send on the deadline. Please prepare to send requirements one week prior to the deadline! Here is a helpful timeline website.
- This tool will help you find out how the classes you take, your GPA and test scores compare to Colorado college's and university's admission standards. And, if you choose to attend a technical or community college, you can explore that pathway as well.
- National Portfolio Day is held by the National Portfolio Day Association - a nonprofit organization with representatives from regionally and NASAD-accredited art, design, and film school. The NPD is an opportunity to receive individualized feedback as you embark on the college application process. Participate in our National Portfolio Day event October 7th, 12:00 - 4:00 PM at RMCAD. Scholarships
- The Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship has been recognizing and rewarding senior athletes who excel in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. Seniors must have a GPA of 3.0 or better, participate in at least one school-sponsored sport, and demonstrate leadership at school and in the community. Apply here by October 17, 2023 at 3pm PT/6pm ET.

- Awesome Full Tuition Scholarships
- Sign up for a raise.me account for micro-scholarships based on high school achievements. Add your achievements such as course grades, clubs, sports, volunteer activities and more to your portfolio. For each achievement, you'll get scholarships from different colleges, which you can redeem when you attend that college.
- High school seniors living in the United States, who have completed independent research projects are encouraged to apply for the Regeneron STS Scholarship online for the chance to win up to $250,000! Apply through November 8, 2023 at 8pm ET.
- “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, in conjunction with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, is pleased to announce its Concerto Competition for High School Musicians is now open. All application materials are due Nov. 15, 2023. The winner will appear as a guest soloist with the Marine Chamber Orchestra during the 2024 concert season and receive a $2,500 scholarship from the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. Second and third-place winners will receive $1,000 and $500 scholarships respectively.
- 10 Words or Less Scholarship is available to anyone between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the fall of 2024. Submit your answers to the essay questions by November 15th. Go to www.facebook.com/myscholarships and place a comment on any post you see answering the question, "in 10 words or less, tell us why you deserve the $1,000 scholarship."

Testing
- Juniors and seniors are invited to attend the SAT prep course offered by Campus Prep this fall. The 27-hour comprehensive course, including proctored practice exams, usually takes place at the University of Denver, but the fall courses will be live online. The cost is $175. Visit Campusprep.org to see the schedules and to apply for the course.
