The NCAR is a research and development center devoted to service, research and education in the atmospheric and related sciences. NCAR's mission is to understand the behavior of the atmosphere and related Earth and geospace systems; to support, enhance, and extend the capabilities of the university community and the broader scientific community, nationally and internationally; to foster the transfer of knowledge and technology for the betterment of life on Earth. Alumni Spotlight: Deborah Grisset
Deborah graduated W&M in 1992 with her Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. From there she attended the University of Florida where she received a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology and her MS in Exercise Physiology.She has worked as an Exercise Physiologist as well as a pharmaceutical sales rep at numerous firms including AstraZeneca, Merck, and Schering-Plough. She now works as a Neuroscience Therapeutic Specialist at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc, where she has won numerous awards for her performance.
