Ross Round Up
Engage. Empower. Educate. Every Day.
May 5, 2023
Hi families!
The weather is a roller coaster right now, teasing us with summer hopes, sudden rain, and spring winds. It's just like the end of the school year--up and down and all over the place!
On Tuesday, our 4th graders will participate in Wagons Ho! Remember, if you'd like to attend, fill out the volunteer application online if you haven't already this year. Here's a link if you need it. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, younger siblings will not be allowed to attend.
One thing we've been working with students on is following the cell phone policy. We follow the elementary handbook procedure and ask students to leave their cell phones in their backpacks if they bring them to school. If they get them out when they shouldn't, we bring them to the office and call parents for phone pick up. Kids have done very well at managing their cell phones following this policy. Thanks for the support on your end--it helps us make sure the focus at school is on learning.
Thursday, May 11 is our last Popcorn "Friday," moved to Thursday this week because students don't have school on Friday. Friday is a day of teacher learning and collaboration.
Love,
Principal Tripp
Safety note: Slow down at pick up
Please be patient for safety's sake.
