IT'S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE
We'll be learning about perspective by creating 1-point perspective boxes and having some fun with them! For this project, you'll need a sharp pencil and eraser, a piece of white printer paper, and a ruler or straight edge. Bring along your sketchbook if you have one! ~ Mrs. Deen
REAGAN LIBRARY VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP THIS THURSDAY
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Virtual Field Trip
For Grades 6-12
Please use the link below to reserve a spot on our virtual field trip to the Reagan Library to participate in an immersive, game-based, simulation that builds leadership and communication skills for participants of all ages. This award-winning program has been recognized for its excellence by both the American Alliance of Museums and the California Association of Museums and is now available across the country as a Virtual Field Trip and Learning Experience.
Field Trip Date: March 11, 2021
Event Time: 10:00 - 11:30 A.M.
Open to Monte Vista Students in Grade 6-12 only

We are doing a survey to find out how many of our Monte Vista Jr. High Students would be interested in attending an Anime Club. This is a project still in the early planning stages, we are looking into having a club for Elementary and for High School students later. Of course, ALL Anime and manga-related material will be age-appropriate for our students.

VIRTUAL COLLEGE FAIR
The College Board is hosting their first-ever series of virtual college fairs called "BigFuture Days". This is an awesome chance for students to connect directly with college admission representatives and current college students. During this college fair, students will have the chance to explore colleges, asks questions about topics they want to learn about, and take action on college planning steps. Colleges from around the United States will host fairs on several different days. Students can attend any event and more than one!
