Our third quarter ends this Friday. Please remember, on our block schedule, quarterly grades are recorded on student transcripts. Please log into Schoology with your child to make sure they are earning as high marks as they are capable. If you need a refresher for checking student's grades and assignments in Schoology, see the "Schoology Pointers for Parents" below.

Also, we are excited to announce that PHASTAR is hosting two spring break camps that are open to ALL Davis students. Read more about Boat Building camp and Drone camp in the details below, and fill out and return the registration forms before THIS Friday, March 11th.

At Davis Aerospace & Maritime High School an academic tradition is that all students complete the OBEC (Ohio Boaters Education Course) and the test to receive their Ohio Boaters License. We are now offering the 1-day (8-hr) Ohio Boaters Education Course (OBEC) FREE OF COST course for Davis parents. Through this class you would receive your Ohio Boaters License, which demonstrates proof that you have met the mandatory boat safety education requirements to operate a boat or jetski in the State of Ohio.

The FIRST FRC club is doing big and amazing things over at the Great Lakes Science Center. We are just weeks away from the Buckeye Regional FIRST FRC competition at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center! We have a lot of work to get done between now and then and the pressure is on! The RoboAviators are ready and motivated to make it to competition and hopefully win Davis a trophy! The Buckeye Regional Competition will be from March 23rd-26th.

On March 2nd, The Great Lakes Science Center in collaboration with NASA Glenn Research Center hosted a live Q&A event with the International Space Station and Astronaut Stephanie Wilson, who will be an astronaut for the Artemis mission to the moon. Two of our FIRST Robotics members, Abdalla Robi and Victoria Tellez, pre-recorded a video asking their questions to the astronauts on the ISS. In real-time, the videos were played and the astronauts answered their questions.

Davis will host its fresh produce market this THIS Thursday. The market is open to all Davis A&M students, families, and community. Please spread the word.

Bring a bag or box to carry away your fresh goods.
