Koronadal CDRRMC Relief Operation Center Opens For Donations
The City Government of Koronadal through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) is again calling on the public for donations to help the victims devastated by super typhoon Yolanda.
In the light of the current situation of the Philippines, the CDRRMC is once again accepting donations of any kind (food, water, clothes, home items or even cash) for the typhoon affected communities in the Visayas region.
Aware of the fact that typhoons are recurring natural calamities in the country, CDRRMC Action Officer Cyrus Jose J. Urbano, CPA said that it would be a year-round initiative of the council. He added that even in the absence of disasters, the council welcomes non-perishable donations anytime so that relief goods are available for immediate distribution during crisis situations.
Bring your contributions to the Donation Desk in the City Hall Lobby or call the CDRRMC Office at telephone number (083) 228-8098 to arrange a pickup.
Meanwhile in an interview, Urbano advised the public to remain alert and prepared for any approaching weather threat or hazard.
