Woodbury Junior-Senior High School - Weekly Newsletter
Friday, March 5, 2021
Message from the Principal:
March is here and it seems the year is flying by!
In this week's newsletter you will find the name of February's Students of the Month along with their pictures for both the Junior High and High School. Also, you will see our AVID Students of the Month being featured. I just want to take a moment to congratulate each of these students and their parents for the hard work, dedication and commitment it took to separate themselves from their peers in such a positive way. We are all proud of them!!
We are starting a new weekly spotlight to highlight one graduating Senior and their plans for post-Woodbury life. Into the breach steps senior Todd Hayes!
During this pandemic, our choir classes have struggled due to the lack of performances and practice time. Below you will find two videos with the kids harmonizing remotely as they have overcome these obstacles. Kudos to them and Ms. Johnston for putting these productions together.
Be sure to have an enjoyable weekend!
In partnership,
Dr. Vivadelli

The athletic department wanted to thank to former Herd Athlete Larry Gaines! Larry saw a deal on water and purchased numerous cases for Woodbury Athletes. Thank you for giving back!
Woodbury Relays: Based on the current coronavirus pandemic, we cannot host an event in April without putting our participants, spectators, officials, volunteers, and staff at risk. We remain hopeful that the recent measures put in place by many health organizations, government officials, and the Woodbury City Public Schools will curtail the spread of this virus. We look forward to hosting this premier event in 2022!
ALUMNI:
The Woodbury Athletic Department is looking to build a Woodbury Athletics Alumni Database to promote our alumni and share information about the current athletic programs, facilities, school, in a newsletter. Interested alumni should complete the survey. Woodbury Athletics Alumni Database
