Future 7th Grader Tdap Booster Clinic Availability
Tdap Booster Clinic - This Wednesday - April 27th @ Cheyenne!
In order for your student to start 7th grade in the fall, and receive a class schedule, they will need a Tdap booster vaccine, or an approved exemption. Total Wellness will be holding Tdap booster clinics at several middle schools this month, including Cheyenne on 04/27. We are hopeful that these clinics will make it easier and more convenient for parents to get their students the Tdap booster. The signed parent consent form will allow a student to receive the immunization without a parent present as long as the parent has also circled yes next to the desired immunization.
Total Wellness (not EPS Nurses) will be overseeing the booster clinics for those who have consent forms, giving the vaccines, and documenting.
Just a reminder - All shot records must be up to date and compliant by the first day of school in the fall. EPS does not allow any exceptions to this rule. Please send all updated shot records to immunizations@edmondschools.net.

Please Remind Your Child About Their Student IDs
EVERY student was issued a Student ID Badge at the beginning of the year or when they arrived to Cheyenne. We have reissued IDs to those students who have repeatedly printed stickers. Per the District Policy, this MUST be worn EVERY day with the district-issued lanyard and the picture must face out. 6th graders are maroon, 7th grade green, and 8th grade blue.
If your student does not have their badge they will need to print a temporary badge for the day as they enter the school. We have three kiosks.
It is VERY important that the student remember their badge each and every day. A temporary badge should only be needed on a rare occasion not for everyday use.
Please continue to remind your child to put their badge in the same spot every day so that they have it with them every day. AS they walk out the door or get into the car ask them these two things… Do you have your ID? Is your Chromebook charged?
Student IDs help us know who should be present on our campus, they are also used to check-in and out of the office, to scan for lunch, and to checkout books in the library.

DROPPING OFF ITEMS
We ask that you check with your student before they walk out the door and make sure they are prepared for the day. This includes having their, Chromebook, ID and Lunch. If your student does forget their lunch or something they need for school, we have a cart in our front lobby with grade levels. This will be rolled back into the common area for the students to pick up their items during passing. Please drop off LUNCHES or SCHOOL SUPPLIES ONLY.
If you are dropping off an instrument or athletic equipment we will place this by the back office door for them to come up and get during their passing or after school. Please make arrangements with your student regarding these items and where to retrieve them.
