Being a digital citizen in 2015
Being a positive, effective and productive digital citizen in 2015 means more than it did 5 years ago. Digital citizenship encompasses being polite, not sharing information that should remain private, not bullying, not plagiarizing and being a decent person online. Students in 2015 have grown up with the internet and sometimes see themselves as being invisible online. Teaching digital citizenship gives the teacher the venue to teach his/her students that no one is invisible online.
