BRIGHT BEGINNINGS PRESCHOOL
October 2022 - Newsletter
WHAT A FANTASTIC FALL !
It has been an excellent start to the school year.
Our kids and families have been exceptional!
Thank you for your patience while we learn routines and make adjustments. Our staff have been working hard to welcome all our new friends. We are fortunate that our district encourages involvement in early childhood programming. Please look at the additional opportunities for families through ECFE. We have special events planned throughout the fall.
All children are welcome, including siblings!
If you have questions or would like to suggest an event,
please let Jane Helgestad know! janeh@mystma.org
Sincerely,
Jane Helgestad, Coordinator

Don’t miss our first meeting on Tuesday, October 11!
During this meeting I will be asking parents the following questions:
· How has the transition to preschool been for your child? For you?
· What form of communication do you prefer? I.E. email, Facebook, Twitter, SeeSaw, School Website, etc.
· What can we do better as a school?
· School Safety
· We will also have a school levy presentation at this meeting
Thank you,
Mr. McDonald

Remember to Vote on November 8!
On November 8, 2022, STMA will ask taxpayers to consider an operating levy. This is a predictable and sustainable source of local revenue that focuses on students and the classroom.
While STMA schools are a big point of pride in our community, our district faces pressing financial challenges due to forces largely out of our control. Low state funding and stabilizing enrollment, exacerbated by the pandemic, have created an unforeseeable combination of multiple short-term and long-term impacts to our budget. Over the last few months, we listened to stakeholders and adjusted. Our needs remain, and we are asking for considerably less than requested in November, 2021.
Please visit the levy webpage or attend an informational session to get factual information.
