School Improvement Process
Each year we need to submit our SIP to the School Board, Central Office Administration, and the HSEA for approval and then we submit our plan to IDOE prior to September 15. The School Improvement Process is continuous throughout the year as our team meets at least once per semester to assess progress, review data, and set goals. The link below will connect you to a short video that describes our plan. The video was created for Central Office use, but I think it is appropriate for you to view and learn about our SIP, too. Thanks to Mr. Kozloski for narrating and for Mrs. Day for filming and producing!

Team meeting/Mid-monthly Team Meeting
You will also notice that we are expanding the Student Data Review section of the team meeting notes to ensure we cover all of our sub-populations to help us drill down even further to ensure student success. Please ensure that you populate the September mid-monthly note section with names of the specific students in each sub-population area so we can copy those into all future team meeting notes to ensure we are intentionally following up each month. We will copy those files into your team meeting notes by Tuesday along with your teams behavior log for you to begin to work on. Thank you.

Environmental Corner
During one of our Teacher Chats it was mentioned that we should share that Dr. Combs and Dr. Loane really enjoy their walk-throughs at FCIS and are pleased with our progress in changing our environment. We are proud of all that you have and continue to do in this area!!
Please note: Dr. Combs has changed her time to come for her walk-through to Tuesday, September 5 at 8:00 am.
