Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.
Parent Survey
We form judgment on schools in a variety of ways. Some look at online test scores or a school report card, some gain judgment from their personal experience or the feel they get in a school, some gain judgment from their child's view of their school, so on and so forth. Society seems to be looking for other ways to judge how schools are doing beyond how students in a school perform on a PARCC test or another high stakes test. The Illinois 5 Essentials Survey is one way to gain another perspective on how a school is doing. We currently have about 25% of parents of our students who have submitted the Illinois 5 Essentials. I would love to increase this as we would gain a better glimpse into how our parents feel about John L. Sipley School. The information can assist us in a variety of ways. If you can please spare 5 minutes to take this, I would appreciate it.
