If It Didn't Cost You Anything...
Would you help make it possible for deserving students to attend GWA?
Yes, that's right. Participation in Georgia GOAL doesn't require additional money out of your pocket. It's a dollar-for-dollar tax credit!
- Participating in this program is an opportunity to put your tax dollars to work for YOUR school.
- Not participating in this program allows the state to use your tax dollars however they see fit.
- Your child's school benefits because we are able to offer funds to attract other deserving students.
The time to apply for a 2019 tax credit is now.
Don't miss out!
- Please complete the 20-second online application process by December 21 at www.goalscholarship.org.
- GOAL will take care of submitting your application to the Georgia DOR in January 2019 and will inform you of your prorated contribution amount.
- No further action is required until your payment is due by mid-March of 2019.
- GOAL will provide instructions on how to claim the 100% credit on your 2019 Georgia income tax return.
- Please reach out to Jenni Cole at jcole@gwa.com with questions or for further information.
James and Kellee Hammond Believe GOAL Provides Remarkable Opportunities
"GOAL gives me the power to choose how my tax dollars are spent! It’s no additional money out of my pocket – it’s just a redirection of the tax I’m already paying, which makes it a win-win. I know how much my son benefits from attending GWA and it means a tremendous amount to our family to help make it possible for deserving students, who might not otherwise be able to afford it, to also benefit from a GWA education," says James.
Chris and Mindy Barber With Brysan Utility Find GOAL to Be Rewarding
"As a business, we participate with GOAL because it gives us an opportunity to make a significant contribution to a meaningful scholarship program, without costing the company a dime. The fact that we can redirect our tax dollars that we are already paying to the state into such a valuable program for deserving children is very rewarding," said Chris Barber, owner of Brysan Utility.
